It's all change here, out goes the old Perception system and in comes the DV based Pinnacle System with Premiere 6.5, Sound Forge and fast SCSI drives, the days of 2" Quad and razor blades seem long passed.

This allows Firewire capture from DigiBeta, Beta SP, DVCam or MiniDV. High resolution video monitors help to get the best from your footage with audio monitoring provided by our Tannoy Devon's and Quad 405, still sounding great after many years loyal service !!

Most of our editing these days is preparing footage for DVD or CD Rom, we work closely with an established DVD/CD Rom Replication facility and can provide the complete service from Editing and Authoring right through to high quality printing, replication and final delivery on DVD or CD Rom.

Pure facilities based editing work with Editor including Sound Studio £ 75.00 pr hr or £ 495.00 pr day ex. Vat. 

The Sound Studio, local recording with Neumann U87 mic: £ 75.00 pr hr ex. Vat.

The Sound Studio, remote recording with ISDN Audio: £ 125.00 pr hr ex. Vat. includes ISDN line charges for connections within the UK.

DigiBeta -  PAL & NTSC  playback only - subject to machine availability

Betacam SX (Mpeg 4:2:2P@ML IBIB 2 frame GOP system, 18.7 Mbits/sec video bitrate) -  PAL & NTSC  playback only

Mpeg IMX (Mpeg: 4:2:2P@ML - I frame only system, 50 Mbits/sec video bitrate) - PAL & NTSC playback only

Beta SP -  PAL & NTSC  playback but PAL only record

DVCam & Mini DV -  PAL & NTSC playback but DVCam only record

VHS -  PAL & NTSC playback & record

Any of these formats £ 20.00 for first 10 min then £ 1.00 pr min, ex stock, ex. VAT.

NB: £ 10.00 Surcharge for dealing with NTSC 525 line format transfers either playback or record, we are able to Edit and Mpeg encode in the NTSC 525 line format if required.
